I directed, shot, and edited this documentary following the University of Texas three-time world champion Quidditch Team through the ups and downs of their 2013 rebuilding year. This film lends proof to the argument that quidditch is a real sport for real athletes.
This is the first video of five that I DPed and edited for Mercedes-Benz in China for their annual "Family Dinner" gala held the night before the start of the Beijing Auto Show. This video is for the 'sales satisfaction' award, which was given to three of the dealerships.
A promotional video I shot and edited for the Asian Studies Development Program (ASDP), a great program run by the East-West Center in Hawaii.
This is Episode 1 of a web series I DPed and co-edited for Volkswagen China about the building of the People's Car Project. The series went on to win a Gold Lion at Cannes Lions Festival.
I directed, shot, and edited this behind-the-scenes EPK documentary for Chinese director Gu Changwei's film 'Life Is a Miracle' (最爱), starring international Chinese stars Zhang Ziyi and Aaron Kwok, as well as several of mainland China's top stars. I singlehandedly shot everything, lit all interviews, recorded all sound, and did all the editing. This cut has not been color corrected.
17 Days. 3 Continents. 5 Countries. 2 Newlyweds. 1 Hell of an Adventure. I was employed by Chinese travel company Sunpala to follow and shoot a newlywed Chinese couple on their epic honeymoon around Africa, Europe, and the Middle East. I shot and edited three videos: one with the honeymoon couple, and two others as promotional travel videos without the couple.
