About

I am a masters degree holder of Mass Communication and started my career by working as a Media Coordinator in a local NGO of Islamabad where I got an experience of developing creative pieces like story boards, scripts and slogans / catchy lines on educational projects. However, afterwards the areas of photojournalism and documentaries attracted me to learn enthusiastically about these fields. Currently, I have several years’ experience of working and assisting as freelance Photographer, Producer and Documentary film maker in Islamabad, one of the most politically and socially volatile cities of Pakistan. I have also contacts with different TV channels , newspapers , international / local bodies and worked with production companies for event coverage (both photography and video coverage), management , hosting and documentaries. Currently working on a short film with the theme of “teacher – child relationships and behaviors in schools” which will be completed shortly.
