Feature length documentary - the subject of the film - Lives of Widows in current day India was a very sensitive one and the documentary demanded that we be very low key. The entire film was shot with a two member crew, The director/cinematographer and myself trebling up as Prod. manager, sound recordist and offline editor. The film took eight months to complete from research to final cut.

This was the second unit work for the feature film Midnight's Children (based on Salman Rushdie's book by the same name), directed by Oscar nominated director Deepa Mehta. For this a number of sequences had to be shot in India. I was the designated Line Producer for the shoot and handled all logistics, crewing, location scouts, permits, accommodation, travel etc for a 10-15 member crew.
