I've worked for 25 years as a Journalist in Iran, France and the United States and had to flee Iran after reporting on the 2009 election protests that swept the country. I received Reuters' 2009 Mohammad Amin Award for my reporting on the Iranian government's violent crackdown. After being forced to leave my homeland, I've continued to report on the events inside Iran.
