Corey is a producer, director, assistant director and editor.
After four years teaching Screen Production at Whitireia Community Polytechnic, Corey has returned to freelance work full time, working in social media promotional content, television, commercials, short and feature films, natural history and documentaries.
Corey works as an independent contractor and also through his company Ingot Films, which he set up with wife Fran Le Vaillant, with an aim to create dramatic storylines focusing on diversity, and with a particular skill in producing content for children and disabled communities.
Corey has, just produced the first season of 'Being Turi' for Whakaata Māroi, which was funded by Te Māngai Pāho and is currently streaming on Māori+, he has also, co-directed the first session of 'The Kid’s of Korero Lane' and recently produced the short documentary 'No Acting In It' about Dames Kate and Miranda Harcourt.
