About

I started out in online news back in 2012 and was soon shooting and editing on the Australian news series "The Feed." The job involved shooting and cutting both daily pieces, which required very fast turnarounds, and longer form news stories which honed my camera and editing skills to make me a better story teller. From there I spent a year working on the comedy-satire series "Tonightly with Tom Ballard" and then went freelance where I would focus on editing and go on to cut reality tv, commercials, a web series and Youtube content. Despite the focus on editing I still managed to get some shooting/DOP work in, most notably on the "Pets Best Friend" commercial for Koala which I also edited. Most recently I edited the Walkley Award winning story "Uncovering Incels" for the The Feed.
