Request QuoteI am a Denver-based independent producer, people-connector and adventurer. My work has always followed my passion for global issues and social justice. I was the project producer for Cruzada, a film by the Literacy Project about the Nicaraguan National Literacy Campaign. I was also producer and second camera for Still River Silent Jungle, an adventure-sport meets environmental-activism story about one indigenous woman's fight against mega-hydroelectric power in the Bolivian Amazon. Over the years, I have worked on literacy and community projects in Latin American and Latinx communities in the United States, and as a caseworker for refugee families in Denver. I speak fluent Spanish.
CRUZADA (in production) documents personal testimonies from Nicaragua’s 1980 Literacy Campaign, which was nation-wide and evolved into multilingual campaign in Spanish, English, and several indigenous languages including Miskito and Mayagna.
An international whitewater kayaking expedition and documentary committed to raising awareness and helping protect the communities and biodiversity of Madidi National Park and Pilon Lajas Cultural Reserve (Bolivia).
Provided archival research support for documentary on education initiatives throughout the Civil Rights Movement, including the Mississippi Freedom Schools of 1964. This series will be ready for release in Spring 2020.
