Request QuoteHey! I'm Patrick, an illustrator and 2D animator. I'm also the owner/operator of Boost Animations. I've produced animated content for feature films, TV commercials, web series, and news graphics. I wrote and illustrated an 80-page graphic novel by myself. I also teach animation on my YouTube channel @ExpatAnimator.
Crescent Moon Films hired me to animate the opening credits of their romantic comedy feature film, Her Minor Thing. I worked directly with the film's writer and director to create the animation. I also designed the titles that intercut between animation scenes. I was in attendance when the film debuted at the Seattle Film Festival, an event I hold fond memories of to this day.
Traveling Gringos is an animated Web series that I co-created and animated. Launching in 2008 on YouTube, it became the internet’s first daily animated Web series, completing its run with over 100 episodes.
I spent a year producing an 80-page graphic novel, doing all the work, including character design, scriptwriting, illustration, inking, coloring, lettering, page layout design, and prepress.
