Other notable projects include “Ruta de la Luna” in Panamá, “Feriado” in Ecuador (premiered at Berlinale), and “Una noche sin luna” (Best Film at Zurich Film Festival 2014). The client was looking to renew its institutional video by creating a motivational and dynamic video that showcased its values, the location of the university and included the real students and professors. This video is used to recruit new students and present the University at events. I worked directly with the client as the visual producer of the film, I was the cinematographer, created the shotlist and edited the film.
Interweaving the stories of U.S. Ambassador to China Jon Huntsman, his adopted Chinese daughter Gracie Mei, and blind legal advocate Chen Guangcheng, the documentary is a timely exploration into the complex links between the U.S. and China.
