On September 26, police forces intercepted students from the Teachers College of Ayotzinapa in Mexico en route to a protest in Iguala. In the ensuing clash, six students were fatally shot and 43 were abducted. Investigations led to the startling allegations that the police had acted at the behest of the local mayor, and had turned over the abducted students to members of Guerreros Unidos Cartel.

Every year in the little town of La Esperanza (Mexico) groups of men and women celebrate fighting. And ancient tradition states that the more blood is spilled on the fields the rainier the upcoming season will be. I participated as one of the producers and photographer.
