DonorSee is an organization I deeply believe in. They change people’s lives through storytelling and video. Exactly our goal with The Narrative Films. What started as a 4 minute concept turned into a 12 minute mini-doc. It’s the story of the DonorSee founder, Gret Glyer and his journey in starting DonorSee. A compilation of old and new, near and far, this film takes you on a journey, a journey with the outcome of hope for the hopeless.
Ergobaby came to us, very excited about their new product. The very first baby carrier to be made using Formaknit technology. They wanted to tell the consumer about all that went on behind the scenes to make this idea a reality. From storyboarding, filming, and editing, we did it all. Rodney, one of the designers lives in Hawaii, so we partnered with an excellent local film company, Pacific Story Tellers, to share his side of the story. The Ergobaby team provided the beautiful baby b-roll shots. The final outcome, this Aerloom: Behind the Design film. We also created three other versions to be used for YouTube advertising.
We had a blast creating alongside the founder of Nani Pua Skincare, Laurie Miller. Together we created scenes that captures the wild yet beautiful soul of Nani Pua and their amazing natural face serum. This is one of the videos that was created.
This film was about finding the balance between emotion and information. Giving enough emotion to inspire while also conveying the key details that would excite someone to invest. It was an honor to work with the DonorSee team on the storyboard, script, and edit to come out with this final product that has assisted in raising $246K for the company. DonorSee is an incredible platform that changes lives every single day. It is always a joy to be a part of their mission.
Since 1985 Rusty has been established as one of the most well known and respected shapers of all time. This global brand is known for their classic shapes and performance innovation. Rusty came to us wanting to establish his son, Clint Preisendorfer as the leader he is in the brand and the next in line to cary on the legacy. Growing up in San Diego and surfing, this project is close to our hearts as the brand represents much of the culture and spirit of home.
