Vanilla Chi is a Chinese freelance illustrator/designer/independent publisher, who currently work in Brooklyn. Her work is influence by a ‘desire for beautiful things’, and her belief that aesthetic systems have the power to transform the world. Tragedies and nostalgia are always the main themes in her works. She worked for The New York Times, The New Yorker, Bloomberg, VICE, It’s Nice That, Olympic, Kiblind, and others in advertising, publishing, packaging, etc.
