The new slaves is a reportage about migrants who grabs tomatoes in the fields of southern Italy. Threatened by "caporals" and filed owners, migrants are payed 4-4,5 euro for every ton of tomatoes they grab. We filmed this reality putting a spycam on a migrant who works in Foggia (Puglia), a character driven reportage about a new form of slavery in our time.
