About

My name is Jules I'm 28 years old and I was born and raised in Paris, France. I have a bachelor degree in Cinema studies from la Sorbonne University (Paris, France) I Also studied Audiovisual communication at Carlos III University (Madrid, Spain) and Cinema Studies at IAD (Institut des arts de diffusion) in Brussels, Belgium. After my studies, I worked as an assistant at Chaï Chaï Films, a production company specializing in transmedia documentary and creative communication where I could put into practice what I’ve learned in class, such as, filming, editing, assisting on movie sets and much more… After a year I’ve decided to work as a freelancer. Since 2016, I have been working as a videographer and editor for AKADEM (intellectual and cultural digital platform) , House of Latin America in Paris, making video portraits and short docs about cultural events of interest to these institutions. I have also been working as an Assistant Camera and as a 2nd Cameraman for The Culture Trip (English media). Since 2019 I work as a parliamentary assistant in communication at the French Senat. I make movies, edits, photos, and take care of the website of David Assouline, Vice President of the Senate and Senator of Paris.
