I believe in video and photography as a tool to change the way we see the world. I am interested in raising concerns and reflections in society, dignifying stories and sensitizing. Freelance video journalist and photojournalist October 2018-present I am a freelance video journalist and photographer since 2018. My work is around human rights, social movements, migration and environmental defense. In the last two years, I have published in Pie de Página, an independent media; Mexicanos contra la Corrupción y la Impunidad, a non-governmental organization dedicated to conducing journalistic investigations and Brut, a global media specialized in video content. My work has focused on taking the photographs and videos of journalistic investigations, mainly related to water defense. Agencia Cuartoscuro June 2010 - September 2010 Cuartoscuro is one of the leading photography agencies in Mexico. -Staff video journalist and photographer (6 years) I made daily coverages of important events in the political and economic life of México. I made the coverage of the 43 missing Ayotzinapa’s students in Guerrero, Mexico. I was sent to cover former president Barack Obama’s visit to Havana, Cuba and Fidel Castro’s funeral. -Professor of photography (2 years) -In charge of photographic archive (1 year) -Correspondent photographer in Zacatecas, Mexico (1 year)
