DW-Eco@africa--Protecting Harare's wetlands
Amidst a crisis of a swelling urban population in Zimbabwe, wetlands are under threat from desperate home seekers who are building structures on them hence compromising the balance in these natural ecosystems. With this realisation a local group of individuals has emerged to protect the remaining wetlands whilst lobbying with the government to find sustainable alternatives for depleteing space.
