I graduated Kyiv University of Theatre, Cinema and TV as a TV-director. Then I switched to advertising agencies and work there as a creative copywriter for couple of years. When Maidan revolution has started I shot documentary about Maidan in Kiev and then during 2014-2015 was working with foreign media in the war zone of East Ukraine as fixer, cameraman and editor in field (Bild, Spiegel, ARTE and others). Then I had with my friend a small production studio where i mostly worked as a scriptwriter, director and video editor. This studio turned out into an experimental comedy media project for couple of years. Then after COVID I switched back to advertising and joined the most cool butique creative agency in Kyiv. But then the war bursted out again. Now since January 2022 I'm back in the field with foreign media all around Ukraine. (Bild, France2, France 5, France INFO, Radio France, I&U TV, to be continued..) In 2024 I moved to Lisbon and still here. x

The events take place in Kiev, during the protests on Maidan. Alexey, a press officer from Donetsk, carries out his duties on Grushevskogo Str. He has arrived to document the historic moment for future analysis. Several policemen of different age and ranks come into focus. They give their points of view on the situation and talk about their role in these events.
