About
With a background in Anthropology and Photography, I am working on a Master’s Degree in Media Innovation. My goal is to illustrate the #ClimateCrisis.
Photography is a lifelong passion of mine. I draw from my experiences working as an archaeologist across the country, in kitchens as a cook, and a father of two in order to connect with communities.
Ever since I first picked up a camera as a child, I have been obsessed with chasing light and remain committed to a lifelong pursuit of storytelling.
I use both digital and film to document people, places and things; all the while crafting engaging visual stories.
Having studied the history of photography, I continue by studying contemporary photographer’s work to push my craft forward.
As a Solutions-based journalist, I work to craft images focused on not just the problems, but how people overcome adversity and reach a happy ending.
When not crafting stories that matter, I can be found traveling and camping with my wife and two daughters, tending a garden, baking bread, and playing the banjo.
As an avid conservationist, everything I do is guided by the wisdom of Nature.
