e2i has a series of career workshops that they would like to promote to the masses. With abstract concepts like up-skilling and learning frameworks, they were looking for a video treatment that could explain what these workshops entail and attract more attendees.
I was commissioned by NTUC e2i to create animation assets for their career coaching promo video. This includes characters and background designs for the animator to work with. As there was no voice over, the designs needed to be eye catching and convey the scenes effectively.
I was commissioned to conceptualize and design a poster for a film festival held in Singapore Chinese Cultural Center. Aligning with the theme - Rhythm of Time - I proposed the concept of juxtaposing the past and present landscape of Singapore, through some sort of ‘gateway’ or ‘time portal’. This poster was used to advertise the event on broadcast ads, outdoor media and social media.
I was commissioned to create a series of festive greeting cards for EDB’s stakeholders. They wanted the designs to be tailored to EDB’s brand, with a consistent theme running through the different designs. The overall theme that I have came up with is ‘Futuristic Festivities’ - where recognizable motifs are designed with a futuristic twist.
I was tasked to re-design Comcrop’s visual identity. ComCrop is an urban farm company in Singapore. With the mission of providing more food stability to the city-state, they wanted this rebranding exercise to focus more on educating the public on urban farms, food sustainability and the community around it.
What To Watch on Netflix is one of the many sub-brands of Netflix, which aims to highlight everything from new content, under the radar titles, rewatch campaigns to talent profiles. My main challenge was to create a design system that is able to display such condensed information in a palatable manner for digital consumption.
