I am a trained journalist and communications' specialist. I hold a Diploma and Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism and a Masters Degree in Development Communication. I have worked in the communications industry as a Broadcast Journalist-reporter and producer and as a PR Officer for several years. As a development journalist, my motivation is to use communication as a tool to foster positive change. I have reported on issues which have gained national and international attention, achieved impact and influenced public policy and decisions. For a substantial part of my life, I have produced content for local and international media. I am an energetic, versatile and all-round, passionate professional journalist. I have proven competences and accumulated knowledge in documentary production and news reporting. I am aspiring to be a stand-out journalist, and to continually develop and upgrade my competences and career.
