Chinese community in Paris has been through physical violence, robbery, attacks since the last couple of years. Everything climaxed with Liu Shaoyao' death. This father of 5 children was shot dead by French police in his own appartment, while he was claimed to be cutting fish and cooking dinner. Protests broke out all around Paris, as police denies an overreaction.
This piece is an example of a year long collaboration (on field reporting ) with GDTV. French medical system is one of the best in the world, but fixing an appointment in time is painstaking. Online medical service like Doctolib and Mon docteur flourish and overtakes the market. I visited their office in paris, to know more about how these websites work here.

Cuisine always had something more magical than satisfying the stomach. Same here in a migrant camp in the northern part of France. Volunteers from all over Europe tried to bond with migrants with cuisine, where as for the migrants themselves, it is closely linked to a sentiment of belonging and social status. I got into the main kitchen in the biggest migrants' camp in France for this shoot
