Cactus Film and Video was founded in 1996 and since then it has both offered production services and created its own independent productions. Its productions and services range from TV news reports for a variety of international media in Mexico, Latin America, the Caribbean and Europe to independent documentary feature films and TV documentaries. Cactus Documentaries has focused on relevant social and transcendent subjects that lead to reflect upon important social and human issues. .  Over the years Cactus has worked on a variety of long format productions for major international channels, including ABC, BBC, CBC, HBO, PBS, Al Jazeera, Discovery Channel, National Geographic and History Channel.
