Labour Union in Nigeria Protest over minimum wage
Labour Union protest to the entrance of the presidential villa to demand for a national minimum wage of 30,000 naira (82 dollars) monthly for workers. The workers were not allowed to move close to the villa by security operatives. The workers promised to shut down the economy from 6th of November if their demands are not met. Workers in Nigeria presently earn 18,000 (49 dollars) as minimum wage.
