I shot this for The Bakersfield Californian after Bakersfield's professional baseball team, The Blaze, announced it was leaving, bringing to a close 75 years of professional baseball in Bakersfield. I chose to concentrate on how the loss of the team would impact the small but loyal group of fans who have supported the team.
