I work across a range of projects for broadcast, cinema and the web, creating films for Channel 4, Al Jazeera, BBC, The Guardian and more. I began my career focusing on stylistic and conceptual story telling to then move into observational documentary work, combining an acute understanding of the real (but not so obvious) moments that connect the viewer to the subject with a rare visual style to provoke a moving and cinematic experience, continuing to evolve my own brand of cinematic realism. I am keen to tell stories that challenge our preconceived opinions, films that nourish our curiosities and touch our hearts, always striving to inspire positive social impact and change through better understanding, human connection and ultimate respect for the endless wonders of life.
