This is a package I scripted, filmed, edited and voiced for AFPTV that was a curtain raiser before the 20th anniversary celebrations of Hong Kong’s handover back to China. It was one of many that I made when I was working with AFP and it shows that I’m able to edit together archival and my own footage to make a compelling news story with very little supporting visuals.

I was able to film North Korean leader Kim Jong Un during one of this first public appearances in Singapore, during the first Trump Kim Summit in 2018, where I was dispatched as part of the AFP to cover the event. Stills from this video made it to AFP's topshot.

I was dispatched to Taiwan to cover the landmark court decision that would grant people the right to same sex marriage. I shot, edited and filmed the contents of this video as a one woman team - one among many that I sent back during my short 3 day mission there.

I was sent to Taiwan in 2018 to cover the devastating Hualien earthquake as a one woman team. This is one of many videos that I filmed and edited there, under harsh conditions. I also spent a lot of time during this mission doing lives, many of which were used by the BBC and CNN.

This is a news package I scripted, filmed, edited and voiced for AFPTV that profiled Nathan Law, a young pro-democracy activist who had just won a seat in parliament then, making him the younger lawmaker in Hong Kong’s history. Nathan has since been disqualified from parliament and is now actively taking part in the pro-extradition protests in the city.
