Zoe Sullivan is an experienced multi-media journalist with expertise on environmental, gender and urban issues. She has reported from a range of places in Latin America, the US and Europe for outlets such as the Guardian, Al Jazeera English, Marketplace, DW, and National Public Radio.
She produced a half-hour radio documentary examining flooding and land-loss issues in southern Louisiana and Venice, Italy, and has reported on conflicts around hydropower dams in the Brazilian Amazon.
Zoe has a BA from Brown University in Development Studies and an MA in participartory research methods from the Institute of Development Studies at the University of Sussex (UK). Zoe won support from the Fund for Investigative Journalism in 2015 for a report on the lending practices that trap Guatemalan migrants in debt.
