With over twenty years of experience in News and Current Affairs, Julie MacDonald is a News Anchor and Documentary Presenter for the Emmy award-winning International News Channel Al Jazeera. As part of the original launch team from 2006, Julie has been at the helm both in Doha and London during a period of seismic change across the Middle East. As Creative Director at the helm of her production company Clanmac Media the team have more than forty years and counting of experience in making news, current affairs and documentaries for top British and global broadcasters. We’re experts in producing broadcast-quality video, creating powerful content across industries, with world-leading podcasts and corporate series in the fields of science, medical, engineering and sustainability. As a Mum of two Dyslexic daughters, Julie is passionate about transforming education and the workplace through promoting a better understanding of neurodiversity. Her series Fierce Minds launches in 2022 supporting parents of kids who learn and think differently.
