Wildlife and Landscape Project
The Wildlife and Landscape Project aimed to adopt the landscape approach and apply it to the protected areas and areas of influence to better the habitat and connectivity necessities of wildlife. The Project strengthened the institutional capacities and the local governments related with the protected areas to integrate a landscape approach in the conservation of wildlife within its management and planning procedures. It consisted of 5 selected landscapes, which included mosaics of protected and productive landscapes where global priority species are threatened and require broad management solutions. The Project was implemented with the active participation of local figures.
