Minzayar ( or Min Zayar Oo) is a photojournalist/reporter/researcher based in Yangon. Since 2012, he has been contributing to different international publications including Reuters, The New York Times, National Geographic and others. He is known for his personal work as well as published work on important political and social issues in Myanmar nowadays, including a long-term ongoing project on the jade mining industry in Northern Myanmar, the Rohingya issue in western Myanmar among others.
