About

I like telling hidden, character-driven stories with a video camera. I have a passion for people and a dedication to excellence. I've been doing journalism since I was 10 years old and there's not enough I could learn about the art of telling stories. After graduating from the University of Alabama with a degree in telecommunication and film with a focus on sports broadcasting, I decided to share my passion with future generations as a 2013 Teach For America corps member where I taught 7th grade for two years. I am a Master's of Journalism Candidate at the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University where I am grateful to be able to focus on documentary storytelling. I've produced videos with social justice, sports, music/entertainment, and political themes. I'm appreciative of my past experiences and excited for what's next.
