In Muharram this year, people in Kashmir were not able to take out traditional processions due to government restrictions. Many prominent Shia leaders, including Imran Ansari, are under detention along with hundreds of other political detenus. Under these circumstances, the procession taken out in Delhi by Kashmiri Shias took on a special significance.

I was asked to cover the football match in Kashmir, it was the first time Kashmir was hosting a football match of such a level - i League. Due to copyright issues by STAR SPORTS no one was authorized to video the match however getting the interview was acceptable, I managed to get the job done by asking the questions my producer sent and shooting some images for b-rolls since it was okay to click.
