This video tells the story of "a day in the life" of a Primatologist and her work for the Smithsonian Conservation Biology Institute in the Peruvian Amazon. Her research is investigating possible methods to reduce the impact of habitat fragmentation in an areas of forest impacted by natural gas projects.

Appelsientje is a delicious Dutch fruit juice brand. The project was filmed in Brazil where the oranges are grown and supplied from farms that have adopted sustainable practices. The video includes interviews with two orange producers. Documentary photographs were also produced as part of this initiative for the NGO Solidaridad and the Dutch company FrieslandCampina.

The video tells the story of a day in the life of Juan, a miner who works in SOTRAMI one of the first small-scale gold mines to be certified as Fair-trade and Fair-mined. The Dutch NGO Solidaridad Network who commissioned the video are working with the mine to improve working conditions, support economic development and environmental practices.

"Lima" is an aerial journey across a city that is home to 9 million people and a voyage back in time to the ancient settlements and sacred sites that are scattered around the Peruvian capital. The video documents 3 key archaeological sites using a DJI Inspire drone and aims to raise awareness of the importance of these sites within the geography of the city.

Climate Smart Agriculture - The world population is expected to reach 9.7 billion by 2050 and agriculture has a key role to play in feeding this population. However, agriculture must adapt to climate change. This video is one of 20 that I have been producing for FAO on a wide variety of sustainability themes.
