Daniel was very communicative and delivered the work quickly and without problems.
On the border between Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of Rwanda, an association of handicaps have creatively transformed their bicycles to offer transport of goods between the two countries. It is surprising because of the way their bicycles were transformed to carry more than one tons of goods and offer employment to handicaps. The latter work with young men to push their heavy bicycles.
My company was hired by Transpoesis to produce this documentary. Transpoesis was founded by Dr Andrea Grieder to boost Rwandan traditional poetry. Dr Andrea partner with National Commission for UNESCO to organise poetry events in Rwanda.
I produced this documentary video thanks to China - Africa Reporting project grant. The project is based at the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa.
This video was produced to support Ubumuntu Arts Festival and spread the word about this new festival in Rwanda. The festival was held for the first time in 2015 and happens annually following the last week of 100 days commemoration of the 1994 genocide against Tutsi.
