I am the Haitian-American son of legendary Haitian musician Mario DeVolcy from Bossa Combo. I moved from Haiti to Bethesda,Maryland at the age of 9. I went through ESL classes till I was moved up to Advanced Placement English classes. I had a drastic and eye opening change from a third world country to Top 10 ranked public school community. I attended the University of Arizona in Tucson, Az. Tucson has atleast 5 schools in the list of the worst public schools in America. I took a course where I had to mentor local middle schools. I have many stories to tell. With your help I want to hunt these stories. The youth is the future. I want my life to represent hope for a young kid in haiti. I want to tell stories that educate, influence, and inspire.
