Request QuoteHI, my name is Emily Harrold. I am a documentary filmmaker based in New York. I was born and raised in Orangeburg, South Carolina. My films have screened at such festivals as The Tribeca Film Festival, The Telluride Film Festival, and The Melbourne International Film Festival. Recently, my short documentary film "Reporting on The Times: The New York Times and The Holocaust" received a Student Directors Guild of America Award and was a Documentary Finalist in the 2012 Student Academy Awards. The film also received a Special Jury Mention from the Tribeca Film Festival in 2013. I have worked with companies such as BBC2, Gigantic Pictures, The Futuro Media Group, and Insignia Films. I am a graduate of New York University, where she earned honors majoring in Film Production and US History. I am interested in stories that challenge our perceptions and stereotypes. I am also interested in content that encourages audiences to re-evaluate our shared past and history.
