I spent three years in the U.S. doing a masters in journalism and documentary filmmaking at UC Berkeley, there I also worked with the Los Angeles Times and the BBC News in their Washington, D.C. bureau. In Colombia I've worked with the French public network France 24 and local media in digital, printed and video projects. In the documentary field, I've co-directed two projects and have worked on separate projects as sound recorder and assistant editor.

The war on drugs has stigmatized cannabis and coca, causing Colombia to grapple with its violent past. Indigenous leader Liliana Pechené Muelas finds a path to heal part of those scars.
