About

Venezuelan writer and musician. He was born in Caracas in 1982. He has published two books in Spanish: Crónicamente Caracas (Caracas Chronically, 2008, non-fiction) and Dinero Fácil (Easy Money, 2014, fiction). He is a regular contributor to various literary and journalism websites, among them Prodavinci and Sacven. His short stories have been recognized with the following awards: Honorable Mention in the prestigious short story contest held by the newspaper El Nacional, 2014; first place in the 9th Edition of the Sacven Yearly Literary Contest, 2013; first place at the 4th Edition of the Metropolitan Policlinic Short Story Competition, 2010; and Honorable Mention in the 6th Annual Trans-genre Award Competition sponsored by the Socidad de Amigos de la Cultura Urbana, 2006. His narrative work has been compiled in several Venezuelan short story anthologies. As a songwriter, he published the album Caracas se quema (Caracas is burning, 2008) with his rock group Autopista Sur.
