I've also shot documentary, as well as PR for humanitarian organizations. My photo work has appeared in the British Journal of Photography, The Washington Post, Al Jazeera English, Reuters, Men's Health, De Standaard, The New Internationalist, The Telegraph, BBC, OZY, NME and Vice. I've reported from Burkina Faso, Sudan, Chad, Ethiopia, Ivory Coast, UK, France, Spain, Togo, Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria, Zambia, Malawi and South Sudan, France, Italy, Germany, Lithuania and Spain, usually covering security and humanitarian crisis and, occasionally, off-beat culture.
I shot, produced, edited, scripted and narrated this piece from Ethiopia for VOA. This is just one of over 100 video and radio reports I have made from conflict countries over the last two years.
In 2021 I won the VOA Director's Grant to make a 15 minute documentary on lives lived at the intersection of climate change and migration. I produced, shot, edited, scripted and narrated.

In May 2020, I shot a news piece for Al Jazeera English. The subject was Fatoumata, a girl who like 350,000 other children lost access to education in Burkina Faso due to the ongoing conflict. I found the main characters, filmed the interviews and the majority of b-roll.
When a coup hit Burkina Faso in January 2022, I got inside the base where the military began to mutiny and recorded their demands to the government. For Al Jazeera, I contributed footage then tracked and did a stand-up for this piece.
I shot, produced, edited, scripted and narrated this piece from Ethiopia for VOA. This is just one of over 100 video and radio reports I have made from conflict countries over the last two years.
In February 2021 I made a video piece for Voice of America. United Nations data shows Africa's Sahel countries have the highest rate of child marriage in the world, with more than half of all girls being married before the age 18. I profiled a former child bride who fled her 54-year-old husband and now mentors other child marriage survivors.
