Hi, my name is Nils. I'm originally from Germany, but in 2005 I left Berlin to start a new life in South Korea. While I'm a cinematographer by trade, I see myself as a multidisciplinary creative who works not only as a director of photography (DoP), but also as a filmmaker, director, photographer and editor. With over 12 years of industry experience, I partner with brands, agencies and production companies worldwide, working primarily in branded content, creative advertising, documentary and the arts. I'm interested in uplifting content and powerful messages that take brands further and genuinely move people - all with a dash of subtle humor. With the Liselotte-Hansen-Schmidt-Campus, the City of Vienna succeeded in a forward-looking project – the building scores in terms of ecological and social sustainability and raises the bar for school construction. The building, for which Holcim provided the concrete, opened in 2021.
