Request QuoteI was with The Hindu Business Line for a year and a half, doing business reporting and covering sectors such as automobile, media, FMCG, chamber of commerce and consumer durable. My big break came with the reportage of the labour unrest at country’s largest car plant, Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. Following my stint with The Hindu Business Line, I took a break to explore the softer lands of non-business features writing. I tried many things. The eventual satisfaction came with finishing my book. On the sides, I was also freelancing for the Periscope page of The Hindu, writing on education, gender and environment. My last assignment was with Hindustan Times, leading Indian national daily, where I edited its lifestyle and entertainment supplement and wrote on books, art and culture. I was in-charge of books section at HT City. A voracious reader and lucid writer, my interest lies in authors, books, social issues and the city’s culture scene.
