Marlaina Schiavo is a Producer, Writer, and Humorist whose 25-year career has run the gamut of news and entertainment. Her career began at CNN, which became her professional home collectively 10 years, with 2-yr stints at Fox News and Court TV wedged in the middle.  At CNN/HLN, Marlaina spent several years working under the deadline of a daily live show as well as in front of the camera, delivering live on-air reporting for breaking news stories. After leaving the network in 2012,  Marlaina pivoted to being a freelance producer and writer for CBS News, ABC News Radio, and Al Gore's Climate Reality Project: "24 Hours of Reality."  In 2016, Marlaina joined Us Weekly, producing daily live digital content and providing on-air commentary/interviews. 2019-2022, Marlaina worked on various streaming and digital media projects at Red Seat Ventures until becoming former Governor Andrew Cuomo's podcast producer for the past year. Marlaina is also a regular contributor at 77 WABC Radio.
