Video piece for Al Monitor about A Beirut-based NGO uses its mobile protection units to find and help children working in the city's streets, providing healthcare and other support. Around 90% of the children they find are Syrian refugees.
Severe weather conditions in Lebanon have so far affected more than 70,000 displaced Syrians in 850 ITSs, 90 of them in the Bekaa region, where Amel Association’s team has been working for days to survey damage and provide support. In a number of camps the majority of the tents were damaged and a high number of refugees have lost almost all their bedding, blankets, clothes and shoes.

Fatima is a strong Jordanian women who got the chance to change her life by starting an Aloe Vera production in her small field, close to her house. Her project is supported by an Italian Foundation, and it is going very well.
A reportage about the difficulties that Syrian school-age children are facing in gaining access to education in Lebanon: around 50% of them are out of school. Starting from the experience of the Academic center of Akkar, the reportage goes deep inside the issues and the challenges that are leading to a lost generation.
