Will the US Own Up to its Role in Europe's Refugee Crisis?
Largely hidden from view on American media, the refugee crisis that is driving millions from their homes and shifting political discourse across Europe has many roots in American foreign policy stretching back to the 1970's. In this piece, I examine that history, the current support-structures for refugees entering Europe, and make suggestions for building a refugee-solidarity movement in the U.S.
