Great collaboration and very proactive to get properly set up for traveling to location.
The story of a 13 y.o. displaced Iraqi now forced by circumstances to work underpaid as a butcher in Khalakan, Iraqi Kurdistan.
In March 2019, the last ISIS stronghold of Baghouz, in Northern Syria, fell to the Kurdish forces, officially ending the existence of the self-proclaimed Caliphate. But as the population of Northern Syria tries to restart and rebuild their lives in the wake of one of the bloodiest conflicts that has ever impacted the region, many questions remain unanswered regarding the future of the Rojava region and the city of Raqqa, now under the control of the Syrian Democratic Forces. The fragile stability is still threatened by ISIS sleeping cells and militants, while the future status of the region remains as unclear as its relationship with the regime of Assad is. In May 2019, I traveled to Rojava and Raqqa together with the Swiss Television RSI to produce a video travelogue for their web portal. (IN ITALIAN)
