Before europeans colonized New Zealand, the indigenous people (Māori) would harvest and hunt for food in accordance with the seasons. This short documentary for Te Karaka Magazine shows the revival of a traditional duck hunt on the shores of Lake Wairewa in the South Island of New Zealand.
