“The Unheard” is a short documentary, focusing on two deaf individuals, providing a look into Greensboro’s deaf culture. From daily struggles like ordering food at a restaurant to the larger issue of becoming accepted in the hearing world, they reflect on what it is to be deaf in the United States and around the world.
As part of a new advertising campaign, this video outlines the highlights of studying abroad with the Danish Institute for Study Abroad. Students will walk you through study tours, cultural immersion, internships and academics, as well as what makes their experience in Denmark so unique. Crystal Mann began the American Women's Shooters Mentorship to teach women the proper use of firearms as self defense. AWSM is a new and unique organization in North Carolina where much of the firearms education is geared towards men.
