Shruti Kulkarni is an independent documentary filmmaker-photographer and a published poet & artist. She has worked with organizations in the sectors of development, sustainability, education, arts & culture and environment & conservation. Her projects have ranged from producing documentaries, awareness films, photography, book trailers, writing photo essays, articles, creating artworks and developing content for websites, newsletters & social media.
Her films & photos have focused on socio-development themes, issues of farmers living on the fringes of Sundarban mangroves, tsunami rehabilitation, post-disaster reconstruction, livelihoods of coastal communities, climate change, sustainable living and architecture, farming, human-wildlife conflict & dynamite fishing.
Her clientele includes World Bank, GFDRR, Friedrich Ebert Stiftung, Arc Finance.
