Happs is a digital startup created by a team of accomplished innovators from journalism, technology, documentary film, news, and international media.   Award-winning journalist Laura Ling, former head of the Vanguard investigative team at Current TV, is our Head of Original Content. David Neuman, former Chief Programming Officer of CNN and President of Programming for Current TV and Channel One, is our Chief Creative Officer.  Mark Goldman, founding president of Sky Latin America, and former Chief Operating Officer of Current TV, is our CEO.  Together and separately, we’ve helped launch the careers of journalists including: Anderson Cooper, Lisa Ling, Mariana van Zeller, Christof Putzel, Adam Yamaguchi, Kaj Larsen, Gotham Chopra, Serena Altschul, Conor Knighton, Tracy Smith, Jason Silva, and others. 

Now we’re creating a network dedicated to live streaming the most fascinating, important, interesting “happenings” going on in our world.  Through 20 min to 1 hour live streams, where viewers can interact with journalists on the ground in real time, we're building an exciting new destination where important stories about the world are being told in the most up-close-and-personal way possible.
