The Displacement of Tibetan Nomads, International Law and the Loss of Global Indigenous Culture
- Reporter / Journalist
Ireland
I am a freelance journalist and an independent researcher, from and based in Ireland, writing broadly in the areas of human rights and social justice. I have been published in CounterPunch, CommonDreams and Global Policy Journal. I have also worked in India for a Tibetan-in-exile online newspaper (Tibet Post International) for six months in 2012. I try to bring to my writing what John Dos Passos once said: 'that he was writing history as it was felt in people's nerves.' That is, to bring alive people's experiences of political, humanitarian and socio-economic events and currents, and to write about the impacts of those events in a compelling and authentic way.
